2/3 of the Triple Crown
Montréal, July 8, 2026 – A week after securing a historic victory at the Duke of Kent, Antoine Jasmin (Le Blainvillier) shone once again by winning the 77th edition of the Alexander of Tunis, presented in collaboration with belairdirect at the Ottawa Hunt Golf Club on July 6 and 7.
Second leg of Golf Québec’s Men’s Triple Crown, the tournament attracted 141 golfers. Jasmin took the lead from the very first round with a score of 67 (-4) and never looked back, finishing the competition with a cumulative score of 134 (-8) to secure his second consecutive victory.
Cameron Robitaille (Saint-Hyacinthe) finished second at -7 (135), whilst Jean-Philippe Parr (Public Golfer) rounded off the top-3 with a total of 139 strokes (-3).
This new victory allows Antoine Jasmin to build on his exceptional start to the season. Having set records at the Duke of Kent last week, he became the 12th golfer to win two of the three tournaments in the Men’s Triple Crown: namely the Duke of Kent, Alexander of Tunis, and Men’s Provincial Amateur Championship. Since the Alexander of Tunis was added to the calendar in 1950, no golfer has managed to win all three events in a single season. Unfortunately, Jasmin will not be rewriting the history of the Triple Crown, as he will be absent from the Men’s Provincial Amateur Championship, scheduled for July 13–16, at the Club de golf St-Georges, having already entered another competition.
Golf Québec would like to extend its warmest thanks to the Ottawa Hunt Golf Club for its hospitality and excellent cooperation in hosting this 77th edition of the Alexander of Tunis.
Golf Québec’s activities continue this week with the Boys’ and Girls’ Provincial Junior Championship, which will conclude on July 9, at Club de golf Lac-Saint-Jean.
