The Québec Golf Federation ("Golf Québec") is the governing body for golf, with a vision to be the leader and benchmark for golf in Québec. Its mission is to increase participation, develop excellence, promote, and govern the practice of golf.
It represents nearly 50,000 members in more than 250 clubs located in Québec and eastern Ontario. Golf Québec offers programs such as Sport-études golf, the Rules of Golf, course ratings, and the World Handicap System. Golf Québec also oversees various regional and provincial amateur competitions.
Golf Québec is looking for a dynamic individual to join its sport development team. Reporting to the Technical Director, the successful candidate will work as part of a team with sport development staff and coaches assigned to our programs.
This person must demonstrate excellent program and project management as well as writing skills. They must be motivated, show initiative, and demonstrate team spirit and creativity.
Responsibilities

Act as a go-to person and provide effective administrative support: update documentation, follow up on e-mails and reminders, collect forms.

Monitor deadlines and support the coordination of internal projects.

Provide logistical support for some events (e.g., on-site coordination, equipment).

Collaborate with various suppliers according to the needs of different programs.

Coordinate requests between different departments and internal or external partners.

Participate in the continuous improvement of administrative processes.

Participate in researching statistics and collecting data concerning our programs and services.
Selection criteria
- Bilingualism (spoken and written French and English).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 and videoconferencing software.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Autonomy.
- Ability to effectively manage priorities and time.
- General knowledge of the golf industry, an asset.
- Customer service experience, an asset.

Duration and dates
- This is a permanent position of 40 hours/week, with flexible hours depending on the season.

Salary and conditions
$48,000 per year or based on experience.
