The Junior Skills Tour is designed to highlight the technical skills of young golfers aged 14 and under. The scoring system provides three attempts for putting and chipping, as well as five attempts for drives, with the best three being counted. Points are awarded based on the accuracy and distance of the shots, or on proximity to the hole, depending on the type of shot.

For the official launch of the Junior Skills Tour in 2025, five qualifiers brought together the province’s 34 best young athletes for this grand finale, in a festive and competitive atmosphere that celebrated the next generation of Québec golf.

Golf Québec now turns its attention to the 89th edition of the Men’s Provincial Senior Championship, which has been in full swing since Monday at the Cap-Rouge Golf Club. No fewer than 120 golfers are taking part in this three-round tournament, scheduled to run until August 13.
