Hello everyone,

I would like to inform you that Eric Couture has announced his decision to leave Golf Québec as Competition Director after more than 13 years with the organization.

Eric will pursue his career with a new challenge as Executive Director of the PGA of Canada - Québec Zone.

Eric has been with Golf Québec since 2009 and clearly contributed to the development of the competitive environment within the organization. His innovative ideas, organizational skills, and knowledge of the amateur and professional competitive scene certainly contributed to the advancement of our organization and, by extension, to the development of many young athletes.

Eric will remain on duty until Friday, February 17.

Maxime Desjardins, our current Course Rating and Handicap Coordinator, will be joining the tournament team effective immediately and will be working with Sandrine Bigras as Competition Co-Directors. We will proceed in a timely fashion with the hiring of new people to fill the positions of Course Rating and Handicap Coordinator and Competition Coordinator.

On behalf of myself, the Golf Québec staff, and our volunteers, I would like to thank Eric for his involvement over the years and his contribution to the golf industry.

We wish him the best of luck for the rest of his career.
