2017 Volunteer of the Year: Jean-Pierre Hardy

our President, Robert Bissonnette, and Executive Director, Jean-Pierre Beaulieu

Montréal, March 25, 2018 – At the 97th Annual General Meeting, Golf Québec took the opportunity to honour its 2017 Volunteer of the Year: Jean-Pierre Hardy.

A member of the Castor Golf Club since 2012, Jean-Pierre discovered the game and started playing golf at the end of the 80s. Always available to share his knowledge with his community, he first acted as Club Captain at the Lac St-Joseph golf club where he used to be a member.

Since then, Jean-Pierre became involved with the Québec City Regional Association where he was a member of the Senior Committee at first. He is now a member of the regional Board of Directors and is in charge of updating the website and managing the BlueGolf system. As a result, he is often in contact with local players who would like to register in various events presented by the region, including the very popular intersectional matches and field days.

For the permanent Golf Québec staff, Jean-Pierre is a dedicated key volunteer. His management of our communication tools is crucial to staying in touch with golfers and other volunteers of the Québec City area. Many thanks for his exceptional contribution and for sharing his passion for the great game of golf.
