With a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Serge Lafontaine has been working in the digital services and solutions industry for over 25 years. He shares with us his expertise in high-tech project management, sales and marketing.

 

Regional delegate for the Ottawa Valley (OVGA) since October 2023, he was mandated by the members of the Regional Association Council to represent them on the Golf Québec Board of Directors.

 
A member of the Royal Ottawa Golf Club in Gatineau, he is currently Director of Junior Development for the OVGA. Having completed the Community Coach training offered by the PGA of Canada, he is also the manager of the Ottawa junior development team. Within his home club, he has served as junior governor as well as a member of the tournament and handicap committee, marketing and communications committee, and finance committee. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Joan of Arc Academy, Ottawa's only private bilingual school for girls.
